but his r/t has nothing to do w/ his e/t. something isnt right, w/ that kind of power, especially w/ a 1.6 60 you should be alot faster than 12.5s. i dono i dont remember but isnt that mph low for that combo? il go check in a sec. w/ that combo and that 60 you should be much quicker. something isnt right here...

I know somthing isnt right thats for sure
my plans for next year are z303 cam, vavle springs and have it tuned
i know goin down the track it seem like it loaded up really bad on the top end so i know its not tuned very well and i still have a stock cam in the car

i'd go with some aluminum heads, better intake and a custom cam... one of my buddies has the same set-up you have except with edelbrock RPM heads/intake and a custom grind cam, he traps well over 120mph.

My opinion:
Get rid of the GT40 heads...Go with some Twisted Wedge or AFR 185s...
I would also recommend the Trick Flow Stage 2 cam for that set up or Comp Cams actually makes a blower cam the 284R...costs about $280 from Summit.. the Trick Flow is only about $170...
Most people on this board will agree the Ford Alphabet cams are not that great..

that would be the first thing you should do. i bet you could probably gain second or so in time if not more if you had a nice dyno tune done.

i would agree with a tune and some head work. was this your first time at the track? was it your buddies first time there? i would think with your set up that it would be faster. a tune will surely help alot.

this summer me and a buddy set up a bet that at the end of the summer we would race and who ever lost would have to put a sticker in there back window sayin he lost well that ended up being me, which i cant belive but o'well next year is a whole different year any way here is what he has and what i have
he has a 95 camaro z-28 pretty much stock except lt4 cam, 1.6 rockers, port work to the heads, headers and 150shot and he went 11.8s at 118
and my car 90 lx D.s.s 306 short block with gt-40 heads, headers, cobra intake, vortech s-trim charger (15lbs), smc alkey kit, anderson ford power pipe, h-pipe, dynomax all the way back, lentech tranny with full manuel vavle body and trans brake, anderson ford pms piggyback system. I went 12.5 @ 110
Any sugestions for next year would be great
