I'm sure with some really good deals, you can do a complete HCI for 1200. But you gotta remember your gonna need a tune, and the price of a tune is pretty expensive. So you could get some gt40 or gt40P heads, a cam for around 150, and an intake off ebay. I'd get the heads used to, you can get some gt40's for prolly 200-250 $. If you shop wisely, it can be done. And alot of guys hit the 300rwhp mark with P heads.

Very true, and i'm sure its much easier to install by yourself than HCI would be. But a HCI and then some N20, now that would be good news.

Sorry i forgot to mention it is a 5 speed and i will be doing the work my self, i would rather not use nitrous dont get me wrong it is great but i would rather not use it now. from what i understand the gt-40p heads are from explorers correct? Also how much hp do the stock injectors handle before they will have to be upgraded along with the mass air flow sensor?
