First:..........
Stroking a bone stock engine is a waste
you will need new haeds, cam, intake and all that other shyt or it will be
like a truck engine. 347 needs A LOT of air to breathe and those heads, cam ..... will choke the shyt out of it.

you need to save up where you can do the whole engine if you want a stroker

Dont forget the clutch and trans too.............

Second ............
i bought my 351W for same price you spend rebuilding to a fully forged 347
these kits with steel cranks are waste, the block is going to give before your stock crank goes.

used 351W block ....... $300 or so.

you could also use 302 pistons, stock 351w rods with 3.85" crank and have a 393ci!!!

all you need is forged pistons, 351W stock crank is way stronger

i used forged pistons, stock rods, stock crank, ARP main studs and ARP bolts. - plenty strong
and i plan on throwing a 150 shot on there.

with 347 if you try and add nitrous or s/c the block will probably give eventually
with 351W you can still throw a 150-200 shot or 8-10psi on there.

thats really the biggest draw back on the 347 ........ you can't add any kind power adder safely.
if you put that s/c on a 347 with stock block sooner or later its gonna eat shyt.

im telling ya for your 347 to breathe expect to pay out the *** for big intake and big parts to fuel and flow that bad boy, i just did one and i probably would have been the same amount of money to do a 408 or 427,, so stroke the 351w for sure, they have accessorybracket kits and everything for the swap, next one im going to do is a 427 twin turbo

expect to spend lots and lots of money... believe me.. though they are pretty fun, If i would do anything different i would probably start over with a 351.. from what i hear they're more reliable and have more potential to make power... but 347's run strong too... But you'll definately need bigger injectors, pump, cam, heads, intake, and about 3 grand
