Default wat motor

well im 16 and going to be 17 and i am in the auto apprenticipe program at my high school working at a shop and ive been saving all my money. My car is a 94 mustang gt with 176,000 miles on her clock. me and my uncle painted it and ive done some (mainly apperence) mods and im wondering wat u all think i should do. I want to build my motor up, mayb a 306 with h/c/i or mayb a 347? how much does a 347 make with the motor stock, polished and ported stock parts, or other combos. Summit sells a kit for like 1200 bucks for a strocker kit and it comes with everything to rebuild my motor. i would rly appreciate ur guy's oppinion on what to do to or with my car. thanks very much

cory

well first off plan on spending allot more that the 1200 because you will need machine work, balancing, gaskets if they dont come with the kit, and all the little odds and ends and everything that breaks removing. Not really worht the money or effort to put a 347 together with stock HCI. Also, dont blow all your money cause your gonna need a bunch of tools soon when you get out of school!!! I was there. plan ahead so you wont be in the middle of a project and have to stop because you have to spend money on somehting else, then the project may goto waste.
But like i said before, unless you come across some really good deals or some nice used parts cheap, you will definatley spend more than you planned.

first off if i were u it depends on the money, both are expensive, if i were u i would find a dss block 302 and put afr 165's and a nice intake and a big cam somethin between 500-520 lift then put rear gears, 373's that is prob the best mod for performance u can do, then lighten the car a little go tubular k member and control arms u can lose over 300 lbs from just that then put a nice clutch and u have urself low 12 second car
