aftermarket amp install in a fox?
Hey guys, just picked up a nice Pioneer 760w amp to push my two new subs. But I've got a problem, where can I get RCA jacks that are long enough to reach from the headunit to behind my rear seats (where the amp will be mounted). If anyone here has installed an aftermarket amp in their fox behind the rear seats, how did you do it? Any input would be apprectiated. BTW I've only spent 40$ on my sound system so far and I've got a JVC KD-G800 head unit, two rear 6x9 inifiniti reference speakers (in boxes), two 10" Dual subs in boxes, and the Pioneer 760w amp! Now all I've got left to install are the subs and the amp.

better that instead of sending underpowered frequencys riddled with interference go to a good store like best buy where you can actuly get help and support a good company, get 2 composite couplers and a paired composite cable of whatever length you need... you can get some acoustic reasearch cables which are twisted and single sheat sheilded and not too expensive... not as expensive as monster and not as crappy as rca brand...

RCA jacks are basically the audio input source for the amp. it doesn't matter where the audio comes from, either the head unit or speaker wires, with a properly bridged amp/sub combo, this product will do the same as having RCA's from the head unit to the amp.

thats what this product does. instead of taking the audio signal from the head unit directly off the back of it, it splices into your + & - speaker wires and recreates another set of RCA's, wherever you wish to put them.
