if you cut your cats out and put in flow masters your going to be replacing a poor flowing cat with a very poor flowing muffler with no pollution control... stupid idea either leave it stock or save your money and get a pipe...

Your car is going to sound great... I say go for it. It also is the exact same thing that I am doing. There is a reason people have been using these mufflers for years and years. They just sound right with a 5.0L. I have already cut my cats off. There is no problem in doing that if the cops aren't going to give you trouble.

I was faced with the same but I decided to save my pennies and got the H-Pipe, this way if you dont like the sound or its to loud you can always put the original cats/pipe back on.

You wanna talk about a mod that has the most bang for the buck..well this is it. An off road H-pipe eliminating the cats, free's up a good amount of power and get that kick *** sound. I wouldn't worry about the environmentalists....Big Corporate America dumps millions of tons of Hydrocarbons and other pollutants into the atmosphere every year. The small contribution your Cat-less Stang will contribute is so minute in comparison! The planet is doomed anyway, lets have some fun while we're here LOL

If you remove the cats what about emissions?
Easy, you don't pass emissions testing. And if for any reason a cop should look under your car and not see them, you can plan on shelling out quite a bit of money. ( I may be totally wrong, but I thought the EPA set the offense to $2,500/violation)
LOL ,Well where I live they will not inspect my car unless it passes emissions first and I don't need the fines or the aggravation...........Good Luck!
