check engine and oil light?

when you first turn your key to turn your car over or when its cranked does your check engine and check oil light come on for a sec then go off? i believe its suposoto but mine doesnt checked all the fuses so i think a bulbs burned.

FYI, the engine light should come on and stay on until the engine is running. The PCM will turn the light out when it gets a signal from the pickup coil in the distributor. This can be used to see if the PCM is getting a good PIP signal in the event she ever crank/no starts for you........
