RE: Sticky Gas Pedal
my car does this when cold too
it dosnt stick but the revs dont fall as quick as when hot
i find it normal as the car has no other issues and its not like it floors itself or anything
i wouldnt worry about it. just do the tune up

My bro suggested I get an msd ignition and replace the dist cap and the rotor plus wires (since the car bucks, no pun intented).

RE: Sticky Gas Pedal
stick with motorcraft.. its OEM and you cant go wrong. plus it will be 100x cheaper than anything with "MSD" on it..
in no particular order but all should be done around the same time:
- oil change (FL1A motocraft filter, 10w-30 oil) remember the 302 has 2 drain plugs
- cap, rotor, plugs... once again stick with motorcraft parts
- k&n air filter
- engine flush (power steering, brakes, coolant, etc..)
if you have acess to a timing light i would have someone adjust your timing to 14* advance
after you do these things you should monitor your car daily. every week i pop the hood and just make sure everything is in order. coolant resevoir is full, oil looks clean and at level, etc... little things like this will save u MAJOR headaches down the road.
