Default Head Gurus please help!

Hey everyone, been a while since I posted, so I may have missed some good info coming through here lately.

I just started looking at a set of world windsor series heads for what I think may be a good deal. They have 2.02 intake valve and 1.6 exhaust, I don't know if they're Windsor, Windsor Jr., or Windsor Sr. yet, but they come with complete valvetrain, 1.6 RR's, and have a stage 1 Port and polish, and a valve job (no idea how many angles).

He said he'd sell it for $800 after shipping w/pushrods (will they go from engine to engine and reuse or would you guys know how to measure or get new ones?) What does everyone think?

What kind of HP and tq would those things produce with a cobra intake manifold? I want to build a road racing car or semi-track/street car, not so much for the drag strip. Would those heads be a bad idea for an application like that?

*EDIT* Someone please help me, I need help bad and ASAP. Some are saying this setup is too big for a stock bottom end, I don't know. It's very close to the trickflow setup (looks like it to me) and GT40 specs.

200cc intake runner, 2.02 intake valve, 1.6 exhaust valve, valve job, 64cc cumbustion chamber in a world windsor (jr/sr) Is this too much for a totally stock bottom end?

Oh really?! well, I was also considering getting a new shortblock at some point in the next year, so I could save the heads.

So those produce more power than say the trickflow heads or GT-40's?

Please elaborate, I don't know jack **** about heads.

*EDIT* oh, my current motor has 87k miles on it.

In order to make more power the heads need to keep a high velocity in the airflow. Not just more CC's. Too large of a head and the velocity of the air flow is slowed and less power is the result.

Ok, now, what would I do to make those heads ideal for my bottom end? Seems to me like my manifold would help keep the velocity high around there. What would I need for those heads?

More displacement. Or Forced induction. So you need a stroker kit, turbo, or supercharger. Or ideally a combination of stroker and forced induction.

The combustion chamber volume is 64cc's, which is the same as some of the GT-40 heads offered and some of the trickflow heads aswell. The only thing marginally larger than alot of popular heads is the intake runner volume @ 200cc's. However, that's close to a $1500 set of CNC ported trickflow heads that summit offers. Is that what you're talking about?

We need some guru's to answer this question. I have access to a set of ported heads from a early 70's mustang. But I have not thought about what it would take to install these in my car. Interesting question.
