Default timing and ignition questions

Well after my throttle body and intake swap my car isnt putting down all the power it should. So I figured i'd check out the timing. It reads 10 which to my knowledge is standard. However my coil wire is severly loose... to the point where it arks you if your near it. So i've decided to get a new cap and rotor and wires along with spark plugs. I want to buy the best stuff.

I'm buying the MSD cap and rotor and ford racing 9mm wires. What plugs should I get? And what gap? I have stock heads and my mods are in my Sig. Thanks

Just run autolite 25's and gap them about .045 to .050. BTW, unless you have to have the look, MSD cap is a waste of $$
