Default heres a original one carbbed or efi 5.0???

i already got a brand new points distributor, so im leaning towards old school again, sold all the stuff of the winsor, wasnt impressed before it blew a rod. i have my original sorry azz motor back in to be able to drive it if need be, ijust dont wanna go thru with all the sensors and ecu crap, but ive never had a efi 5.0 so i dont know what i might be missing, ive had a high rise with 4brrl w/gay azz auto trans befor and then the 351 with c4. want to convert to stick, but is it worth it or should i sell the car and look for a stick shell???

the auto can be built to be faster, more consistent, more torque. but if you are set on an manual, you should get it. built autos are great, but if you're going to leave the tranny stock its pretty sluggish.

what it comes down to is do you want to drive a 5 speed or an auto, you're the one who has to drive the car so you decide.

if you've already got a c4 i would say stick w/ it. get a nice VB and a torque converter and it will be lots of fun. as far as the EFI question, what are your plans for the car? forced induction is usually easier with EFI. also some say its more friendly for DDs. then again its usually a little more expensive.

ya blow through/draw through works ok, obviously blow through is the best choice today, but it tends to be easier to tune. its all good though, it can be done and make just as much power. you can go w/ a built aod, alot of people like lentech or pa

draw through has the carb before the turbo, so it mixes the air and fuel then compresses it. blow through has the carb after the turbo. draw through is older(at least it was more common a while ago i beleive), and cant be intercooled.
