IMO, the only reason you should do a rear seat delete is if you're putting in a roll cage.

RE: Rear Seat Delete
I don't know about the fox bodies, but the 94-03 rear seats weigh up to 50lbs.

On my 97GT, I deleted everything from the rear seat back to the trunk and I noticed a HUGE difference. So far i've managed to reduce about 125lbs on the car not counting my cobra r rims vs those heavy split 5 spoke stockers. Minus the weight andon a quarter tank, the difference is ridiculas. You can definatly feel the quick pickup from a dead stop, and on a roll, it feels like an import (meaning it has that real light weight push) not that I like ricers, but thats what it feels like all without buying a thing. Something you can really feel like a full tank vs. a quarter tank. BTW each gallon of gas is about 8lbs so 12 gallons of gass is about 100lbs. Anyways, I would recomend asking the place you get your deletes how much they weigh vs. how much a fox rear seat weighs. I think the fox seats are much lighter than the sn-95's. Besides, you fox bodie guys are light as it is!!! Keep the weight saving tips to the heavy sn-95's.
