BTW-I meant air pump, not air filter.

yea they actually do make track heads, but unless this is a track car mostly, meaning you drive it MORE at the track than the street I would go with the TW heads. But if you are using it mainly as a track car by all means go track heads.

That's exactly what I thought and I appreciate you confirming the TF Twisted Wedge Heads are the way to go for my purposes.

I'm going with the TW heads, 3/8 stud mount TF RR's, a stage 1 cam, and a new timing chain.

Do you think I'll need to get the car re-tuned after this? I did get it tuned after the SC and just wondered what you guys thought.

I certainly would after getting a new H/C/I combo. I am actually waiting until I get my combo installed b4 even thinking of a tune.

I did mine after SC and intake and just need to know if I should get another one after the heads.

Any thoughts?

Dont get either. But your choice should be either TFS HI_PORT heads (these are the originals and make AWESOME power) or TFS-R heads. As you can assume the R designates racing so they can flow A LOT, I believe the TFS-R's come with 225 intake runners, the hi-ports are something like 200 or 209.

I got the whole kit and it came with pushrods. I believe they are stock length. They also come with an instuctions manual on how to check for proper pushrod length with an adjustable pushrod

I just don't know if I need TFS R or Track Heat heads. I think the Twisted Wedge Heas could be a god fit for my application.

Will I be disapointed with the TW heads?

I certainly dont think you will. This is a street driven car right? You dont need your power band way up high if its gonna be a street car.

It is a street driven car and I'm looking for low end torque.

All my other mods really are geared to this as well.
