Default h-PIPE QUESTION

Does anyone know what i can plug the elbow tube on the h-pipe with where the smog pump line would normally hook upto? thanks

From what I understand if you remove smog pump its best to remove cats too. The cats can get clogged up pretty fast with the smog pump gone. I would get an off road Hpipe and be done with it. Most off road pipes I seen didn't have a place for smog pump. I could be wrong maybe someone else can shine some light on this.

i do have and o/r mac h-pipe but it still has the tube for the line to hook into...i can hear the exhaust coming out of it and i want to plug but i do not know with what.

Is it a threaded hole ? If so just plug it with a screw....Or have someone weld it shut if you dont know how to weld...

Go to your local hardware store and get a 3/4" vacuum plug. They are black and made of rubber. Ive had one on for 11,000 miles and it does the job.

i put a MAC pchamber in my car last weekend what we did was hit the end of elbow tube and treaded and old spark plug in there with locktight on it then broke the end of the plug off lol it works

You can use just about anything. It's not threaded, or at least shouldn't be. So just find anything that will hold and put it there. Perhaps find a huge bolt and weld it in there

here's what i did. i cut off the tube sticking out of the exhaust pipe. cut a piece an inch long off that tube. cut piece down side. flattened it out. brazed the flat piece over the hole. works and looks great!
