I just got my new 3:73 gears installed and i know the speedometer is off but in your list it doesnt mention the gear for a 93 5 speed 3:73. and also where does the gear get installed at?

I am pretty sure you will use the same gear that works in a 87-89 with 4.10's!

Ok, well, after researching before posting ::always good::, I found that the white gear, which is 23 tooth is good for your car with 3:55's.... give those guys a call, they can help...

It depends on your tire size too (EX. you need to change your speedo gear if you keep your rear end gears the same and change tire size). If you changed the overall diameter of your tire from stock, you cant use a chart.

I've got the stock transmission for my year which is a 4 speed srod, kida outdated and not working at the moment since my rearend went out on my friday but I've got 14" rims with 60's on them and I'm going to put in 3.73 gears any idea what I might need? My speedo is already off by about 5mph over. Thanks

how do you recalibrate gears? i just bought a 1990 mustang 5spd today and we noticed that the speedometer is off. it has 3.73 gears so now i know why its off.

I have a question im running 2.73 gears with 245/45R17's on a 95 mustang gt. Wat kinda speedo gear should i have?

some guy is going to correct mine today. the gear is only $25 from the dealer. but i think he gets a discount because he used to be a mechanic there.
