Ok so I pulled the upper manifold off this week and replaced the FPR and put a gauge on the line. Put everything back together, as I remember it/how it would go together and the bitch won't start. There's also a NASTY metal on metal sound when I try to start it, and it kinda almost sounds like an explosion just before the sound. WTF did I do?

Dropped something into the lower intake maybe? Now it made it's way into the cylinder. Happened to me once with a bolt.

The car had been sitting for about a month, it ran fine before and was timed correctly, I don't see how it could've changed, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check it.

I highly doubt I dropped anything down in there, I immediately covered the lower manifold with a rag and when I put it back together I wasn't missing any screws.

i doubt that a starter would go out the exact same time that you replaced the manifold. Was there something wrapped up in the rag maybe that dropped down in there??

funny thing is I have seen all kinds of that crap..starter will go or dist ..etc...funny how it work[:@]
