+1^ Same thing happened to mine. The stock guage is a pile of sh*t!! I replaced mine with an autometer guage and its been reading normal ever since!

GUYS THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP ONCE AGAIN...WELL THIS MORNING I STARTED UP THE CAR TO DRIVE TO WORK....(REMEBER THIS IS STILL A PROJECT CAR TOOK A CHANCE THIS MORNING) ANY WAY THE OIL PRESSURE WAS TOWARDS THE TOP. ONCE IT WARMED UP AND I STARTED DRIVING IT WENT BACK DOWN AND FLUCAUTED BETWEEN THE MIDDLE AND LITTLE ABOVE THE BOTTOM...HOPFULLY JUST THE GAUGE....PRO THE MOTOR HAS ABOTU 80K THE BODY HAS 61K WAS A 2.3 - 5.0 SWAP.

well my guage does that all the time it starts up at the top go's low but put a auto meter gauge in and it runs around middle but ya use the mechincal guages
