Default help me out everyone!!

Ok here's the deal. Ive got $3000 to work with and I want the best bang for my buck so to speak. Ive got a 89 mustang hatch with a nearly stock 302. Ive got a CAI, MSD cap and rotor, Ford Racing 9mm plug wires, and thats pretty much it. I know for sure im gonna do wheels and tires, Probably weld racing, skinnies up front and drag radials in the rear. Besides that im not sure what else to go with. Let me know what you guys have done or how you would spend 3000 grand.

Gears, gear install, rear upper and lower control arms, springs, wheels (weld are nice) get Mickey Thompson drag radials.... best traction.

if you wanna be really fast really soon, go with a nitrous kit. your 89 has forged pistons so itll take a bit of abuse...

with the afore mentioned items.... and a good driver, you could be looking at 12's... maybe even high 11's

Well for start I would work on the drivetrain 3.55-3.73-4.10 gears and short throw shifter you can have this done fairly cheap!

If your car still looks like this:

I would start with fixing the rust and get a paint job before the rust gets any worse. Then worry about the other mods you want to do.

You could have a NICE blower or HCI package for that much and then have a few bucks left over.
