Can anyone help me locate full door skins for my 85 GT vert ?
I can get have skins but really want full.

why not get another door? alot of labor doing a door skin

I might just have to. The car is at the body shop and they did locate a couple of doors from a convertible in the Southwest and claim to be rust free. The original doors are just starting to have the sealer peel off on the bottom inside so there is rust pushing it off.
The half skins are available but they really don't want to piece them in.

I should post pics of my restoration. I have not seen an 85 taken apart as far as this one has.

have you gone to a junk yard and let them check the 'puter. for door nearby.or e-bay, craigslist.etc....those have panel will have a seam

Yeah...tried many junk yards. Many of them have nationwide search capabilities to locate parts and still haven't found any. I will probably go with the full door replacement. Craigslist and ebay haven't turned up anything.

Thanks for looking but the doors I am replacing are in better condition than that one. The problem is that once the rust starts in the seams there is no way of stopping it.

That door is NOT off an '86 - its off an 87+ and appears to be more than just a little rusty on the bottom [&:]

Good luck with your search, good 85-86 vert doors are hard to find I'm in the process of having my lower carpet on the door panels re-furbed thanks to the speakers the previous owner installed [:'(]
