Default Street Cruiser Valve Body

Hey guys I just had a few questions about the Lentech Street Cruiser Valve Body. It seems to be what I have been looking for, fully-automatic w/ firm shifts. So will my car pretty much remain the same (OD acts like OD and D acts like D)? I have very little mechanical experience (Oil change, removed air silencer) how hard would it be for me to install the valve body in my driveway? Also hard are the shifts(someone said transgo shift kit will chirp 1-2nd and give you whiplash 2nd-3rd), are they comparable to transgo ?

Appreciate the help guys,
Jimmy
