LT1's are nice motors until they start having ignition problems, which they will have at some point. LSX motors are Gods gift to motorsports 
. A set of long tubes, full exhaust and a good tune puts you in the 12's with street tires-ive seen it firsthand

z28's were rated at 310 and the SS/WS6 was rated at 325. My friends 01 SS put down 325rwhp w/ just a SLP airbox and loudmouths, no tune. W/ FLP headers, Y pipe, Z06 MAF and a few suspension mods, he put down 342rwhp.

Ok thanks..this kid supposively has a bunch of mods done to it, so its outta my ballpark right now, i think he said it was a low 13 second car or high 12's, but he DOES exagerate alot.
