Glass Packs

RE: Glass Packs
My friend has an '80 Capri and has 2" dual glasspacks and it doesn't sound the worst. But it does sound a bit on the truck side of you know what I mean. I just put 2 1/4" dual straight pipes on my 93 Bronco with no cats and it was LOUD with 45s out the back. So yesturday I welded in some glasspacks and it's much more toned with a truck sound which is fine. I think tips make a lot of difference too. I have 3" stainless tips on my Mustang with o/r H and dual chamber flows 2 1/4" until the tips and it sounds like no other. I'm think of putting real tips, not the ones that make it look good, on my Bronco to get more throaty sound. Glasspacks will also get louder as the age too.
