I just placed a mass order of parts for my 89 GT. I'm doing a rebiuld with a hot, alum. heads, cobra intake, good exhaust, 70mm MAF, 65 throttle body, etc. I'm running about 15.0 1/4s with exhaust and cold air package. I'm shooting for low 13s. Does this sound about right. I want to beat most camaros/firebirds, etc. in my local area. People always get down on fords where I'm at so I want to show them up.

I'm having problems with my clutch quadrant. The car won't turn over unless I wiggle the clutch around?

well low 13'2 won't enough to beat most newer (lS1) camaros and fire birds as they run mid 13's stock, add a few bolt ons and 12's are right there. I would say do what you had planned and add a 100 hp shot of nitrous

sounds like the nuetral safety start switch is loose or bad. the switch is located under the dash at the top of the clutch pedal.

You need a good cam to get the power to win. Lighten the car up buy 300 pounds and add ur package. And then get some good street/slicks,Nitto 555Rs and have fun.So get those things or get the Holley package for 2k or TFS package they both make 350 Hp to the fly.If you buy the combo it takes out the guess work.That pack would put you in the 12s. Easy as that.[8D]
