15G to spend Grown to like the foxy
Wasnt a huge fan of liking the foxy body style cars but it kinda grew on me and it made me to start to think... max price I saw for one was $6000CDN. Most of them avg from $3500-5000CDn which seem to be fine... Question is there all high milage over 180,000km and my question is should I get a auto or 5spd and also which model LX or GT? Cause the car is such high mileage would it be worth buyin say a 1992 GT in decent shape for $3000... and swap the motor/tranny? and are their any good sites I can buy a new motor/tranny to swap into the car say for under $8500CDN? Or rebuild the motor/tranny and then mod? Main problem for me is... its a old car, lots of problems...
Also if you allow me to pm you for more questions please let me know

I like the LX's, the GT's do look better, but the body kit is just one more thing to worry about and all it's doing is weighing the car down. Also different people have different tastes, I'd pick a stalled automatic with a hi-po valve body over a T5 anyday, but like I said, everyone has different tastes. Pick what you like, drive a few of them before you buy one.

Man, nothing beats the look of a hatch IMO, but the look of the notch is killer, all ***** no BS!! I also prefer an auto, but i am going for 1/4 mile performance. Just wait and find something you love, dont just jump on the first thing that comes your way or you wont be happy!

I like the weight of the LX's, and wouldn't mind owning one in the future for a pure drag car, but there is no way I am ever giving up my GT. If I was looking to just purely save weight I would take out my stereo, subs, AC, ect. ect. Go with whatever you like and tell everyone that you just like it better if they give you any crap.

find a cheap $1000 4 cyl fox, then change to auto swap engine and tranny ...so u have the rest of your money to spend on h/c/i and nitrous, turbo or whatever
