Default How hard to switch to carb?

I have been to the shop twice now to be the chip right, they still can not get a good power curve on the motor. It bogs down at normal driving rpm's(1600-2300). Some have said to add a adjustable fuel reg. will this help with a chip? I did not build a monster motor, DSS 306,gt40p, tf street intake, C&L mass air with 24# inj. Comp Cams 270/278 .512 lift. I was told at the shop that c&l are hard to get right they have had the most trouble with them. any help would be great.

Default RE: How hard to switch to carb?

and adj fuel pressure reg is NEEDED to help tune the car, you cant tune your car right with just the chip. I'd go to a reputable shop for a dynotune after you get the press reg before you start yanking off the fuel inj stuff. But, if you wanna convert to carb your gonna need to get an intake, carb, some misc small hardware for the throttle linkage, etc., fuel pump and sending unit (or just a new tank or a sumped setup). Your giving up alot of drivability ditching the fuel inj though.
