A Camaro beat me
I'm new to this forum and I just thought i would share my story with ya
this summer me and a buddy set up a bet that at the end of the summer we would race and who ever lost would have to put a sticker in there back window sayin he lost well that ended up being me, which i cant belive but o'well next year is a whole different year any way here is what he has and what i have
he has a 95 camaro z-28 pretty much stock except lt4 cam, 1.6 rockers, port work to the heads, headers and 150shot and he went 11.8s at 118
and my car 90 lx D.s.s 306 short block with gt-40 heads, headers, cobra intake, vortech s-trim charger (15lbs), smc alkey kit, anderson ford power pipe, h-pipe, dynomax all the way back, lentech tranny with full manuel vavle body and trans brake, anderson ford pms piggyback system. I went 12.5 @ 110
Any sugestions for next year would be great
i kept right up with him in the 1/8 but after that he walked me bad

ith everything you have done to your motor.. you should be running alot faster then 12.5... especialy with 15lbs of boost.. either something isnt right.. or the gt-40heads are holding you back alot. what cam do you have? what rear gears?

If I'm not mistaken.. doesn't the 95 Camaro have the LT1 / Corvette engine in it? I thought it was the 350 with something like 275 HP stock. Add exhaust and ported heads to that, along with a 150 shot and you have a pretty badass car.

lol anyways you should deffinatly be better than 12.5s. we have stock 5.0 motor cars running 12s here, and you have boost too? somethings not right. hopfully the guys here can help you figure it out, good luck, by the way seems like a nice ride. got pics?
