Well if it was a 93 and excellent condition then I would say its about right for around here (Georgia)anyway. I looked for a year and never found one for much less than that and the ones that were under 5000 that I found are junk. I paid 7500 for my 93 cobra and had to go 4 hrs away to get it after I done went 7 hrs to get what I tight was a nice car and found it to be junk also! I know what kbb and all says for blue book but these cars in good shape are rare! It basically comes down to what your comfortable paying but I dont think 5000 is WAY to high

I paid $5000 for my 92 hatch, 86,000 miles, completely unmolested with a NICE 1 year old paint job on it, good tires, good brakes, spotless interior, good everything and I don't feel a bit ashamed for paying that much.

yeah, i guess it depends on the area. for around here (MD) i dont think that's that bad. my buddy paid $4500 for his 92 LX vert, and he had some oil leak problems he had to address. i just picked up my 92 GT vert...85k original miles, basically stock, very clean for $5000. only thing i had to fix was trans output shaft seal, which was leaking.

I think it's good. The only reason I wouldn't buy it is because it's a convertible.

Seems like a decent deal if its as clean as you said it is.
Around here really clean Mustangs bring a ton of money.
