I didnt get that fairlane, im just curious, is my 1990 5.0 GT with an Auto trans decent to race, just street strip car. Id like to make a wheelstander, my first thing is im gettin LX bumpers, i dont like the gt ones. Any recommendations to get started on this?

Start with your basics...Gears, exhaust, bolt ons. etc....

How much you lookin to spend on stuff ? Theres alot of factors here.

well, i already have the car, so thats like 5k out of the way, i dunno, a decent car for around $3000? Dunno about power adders, a litte too much $$$..yunno?

So you sayin you have 3000 to put into it ?

If so i'd do a HCI and suspsension. 3000 would be a really good start, but a bit shy.....But all really depends on what you get, brands, etc....

you aint gonna build a wheelstander with 3k. plan on 10k or more

4.10s, manual valve body, and a 3000 stall would be the first few things that I would buy.

430'S MORE LIKE IT AND THEN STALL CONVERTER, AFR HEADS WITH 1.7 ROLLER ROCKERS, BIG CAM LIKE AN X OR Z CAM OR BIGGER IF U CAN FIND ONE, THEN VICTOR JUNIOR INTAKE, 30LB INJECTORS THEN START GOIN POWER ADDERS, TURBO IS YOUR BEST ROUTE B/C U CAN GET MORE POWER OUT THEM THEN U SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO
