Found a local guy with a Cobra intake and a set of edelbrock aluminum heads for sale.... def. interested in the heads pending the outcome of being looked over by a machine shop, but was curious as to the operating range of the cobra intake. I originally wanted Trick Flow street heat, but if the cobra has a decent operating range then i might just stick with that. The price sure is right.

the range is the same as the stock intake. idle to about 5500 rpm. The Cobra intake is good enough to flow enough air for i think 450 HP. TFS street range is good till 5500, makes peak power about 5500 that is. And will support well over 500 HP

you could always get the lower ported on the cobra if the deal is really worth it. i'm not sure about the numbers on the TFS but a ported cobra will flow about the same as a performer.
