RE: Computer Tuning
i agree 100 percent, but aint no way im wanting to tune it myself and unless a miracle happens and someone around here dynotunes obd 1 cars im going to get a mail order chip as long as it will actually run ok, i know it probably wont put out as much power but im more concerned with driveability and reliability and i still think a pro miles away could do better then me right here by it. Or will it justn ever run for sh*t?If i do a custom mail one?

RE: Computer Tuning
I'd definatly consider the tweecer. Sure, it might take awhile to learn the software, and how things work on the "inside" but you'll get it eventually. And you'll get a much better acurate tune, and have the tweecer incase you ever want to do someting else to your car and need it retuned, and if youg et good enough, you can tune other cars and charge, especially if there isnt a dyno around. Thnk of the possitive side of it.

RE: Computer Tuning
EECTuning is a great resource!!!
I tried to put together the basic first steps needed when starting to tune with the tweecer on my site.
It doesn't cover all the details, but it gives an idea of what needs to be done, and a rough order in which to do it.
The tweecer manual is available for download on the tweecer site.
So is the software; I suggest playing with it a little before you decide.
Also look for the Ford documentation for your computer (I am not sure what it is, but the fox document is called 'GUFB'
