heater core replacement

Default heater core replacement

88gt heater core gone south, need any thoughts on an easy way to replace it......just had the r12 air done not long ago and hate to vacate the system to replace the core, any thoughs on seperating the core from the air/heater system without removing the system and disconnecting air1 thanks

you could replace or by pass. i did my heater core, wow what a fun job...since you did your air i would just by pass instead...

If you have pulled your dash out before it wont be that bad for you to do it is possible but a pain in the a** to get the heater core out but it can be done I did mine about 9 months ago and never opened my a/c system. Good luck

wow i did it and i had to take apart everything to like the bare metal to the windsheild I mean everything the whole dash all wires and everything. I would never do it again NEVER!!! ahh good luck haha. ps its not worth it bye pass it. or get a heater you put in the car.
