Can I fit these up front?

RE: Can I fit these up front?
Ahhh crap, did pounding the pipes hurt the sound at all? U think u lost anything for power? (might sound crazy, but u never know). I was taking the quads out anyway, but how bad is the inner-fender in the way?

RE: Can I fit these up front?
I had an 87 with 245/45/17's on the front with 9" saleens and 275/40/17's on the back with a 2" drop and the front rubbed like hell. Hard breaking would set the fenders on the tires. But in my opinion, it set perfect on them. The back didn't rub at all though. The 275's will rub like crazy though i'd think cuz there's no where for them to go. Good luck tucking them.

RE: Can I fit these up front?
pounding in the tailpipe didnt effect anything, its only the tailpipe remember, and the wheel would rub on the slightest incline, so I took a BMFH and did what I needed to do

Well, you should measure how physically wide those tires are with a tape measure. (NOT all tires are the same physical width.) I have a set of 245's that physically LOOK wider than a set of 255's. These 245's also look perfect on the Cobra Wheel.
As for getting these tires to fit: If you add a bit of NEGITIVE Camber, you will probably be able to stuff them in there. They will probably rub on the ground effects (if it’s a GT and FULL lock up)
As for the rear, for what it's worth, I have a 255 in the rear, WITH a 1 INCH spacer. I rolled the fender and it doesn’t rub at all. Looks good, other wise, the wheels sits to far in...
