+1 Thats right! I get scared hearing the words nitrous & boost in the same sentence but if you feel comfortable doing it than go for it. But remember, after that SC your not going to have too much room for nitrous.

With 8.5 c/r I would bump your timing up to 16-20 and see what it does

you can put in a TON of timing with that low of a compression

and go ahead and do it now, no need to wait. the engine will like it.
just make sure you keep premium gas in there.

and for God's sake get rid of that Hot air intake. you're losing 10 or so hp right there.

tip: on your valve covers ...............

AutoZone sells "Aluminum" color high temp spray paint
works great, will have your valve covers looking as nice as your upper intake.

oh yeah,

you run a VERY good risk of splitting the block in two
if you add any kind of real power adder.

over 425rwhp on a stock 302 block is walking the line of disasster
it may hold up forever, it may crack 500 miles later.

why I went with 351W, plenty of room left to grow..........

I wish I had my camera or I would post up some pictures.

I painted a few of my friends brackets on his camaro this weekend with the rust tough "aluminum" paint and they came out GREAT. His brackets look like they were machined out of a brick of aluminum now lol
