Hey guys when i got into my car to go to work today the door chime wouldn't go off. Usually once the doors closed and my seatbelt is in the chime goes off (if my keys are in the ignition). But today it wouldn't go off. I double checked the door, i even opened the door and manually pushed the button down but it made no difference, i checked my seatbelt, but nothing would make it go away. And the car light was not on which it would be if my door was open. After about 30 seconds of driving it went away. On my way home fomr work after about 3 minutes of driving it came back on for a second then went away and kept doing that for the last 2 minutes of my ride home. any ideas guys?

no but i'd like to point out that the sound would get so madd annoying i'd crash my car!!

pull the fuse. that fuse only controls that chime and the courtesy lights

ya it was driving me nuts, the worst part was i wasnt supposed to work today, i had a headache, and then the chime was driving me nuts. I just turned up my music loud enough so i culdnt hear the chime...but that didnt help my headache. Hmm if i cant find the problem and noeone else has any ideas i might just have to take out the fuse

mine was dooin it and it was a short in the box so i just bashed the chime box

Sounds like its shorted out to me. Prolly just yank that fuse.
