this guy has a 5.0 block for sale... he doesnt say much about it but only wants $50... should i go for it? link

nothing is wrong w. mine at all. if i were to get it id build it up, and then drop it in the stang... stroke it to a 347 etc etc... didnt know if the rust he talks about is bad, or if i can just get it bored out to take care of that. dont wanna spend $ on something ill have to throw out...

by the time you have it machined, blueprinted, balanced and pay for shipping and a stroker kit, you can buy a dss short block for the same money already assembled...jmo

no prob, I only know that cause my bud (jeffutica) did that and he's preparing to assemble the stock 302 block bored to 306 and realized he's gonna have more money into a weaker block than if he had just bought a dss stroker short block assembled for $1800-$2000...lol
