conflicting spark plug gap information...
Ok, I bought some Autolite resistor spark plugs for my 1992 5.0L Mustang. They are not pre-gapped. Now, this isn't an issue, except that Ford says to gap your spark plugs at .044" and autolite's product catalog says .054"
Who should I listen to? Does the namebrand of the spark plug make that much of a difference hat it should be gapped differently?

RE: conflicting spark plug gap information...
stock gap is .54
i gap mine at .44... ive always gapped small
nitrous has a tendency to blow out spark over larger gaps, and the smaller gap decreases the likely-hood of misfire and non-ignition
