I would like everyone to know I just picked up my first Mustang. I have a 1986 GT and let me tell you it needs work. Don't get me wrong it runs good, fires up everytime, but there is just so many little things that need to be done. I got the car for 1500 bucks and it looks like i spent 200 bucks on the car. I just want some advice on where to start my project. I need it to be an everyday driver and it can be, just some comfort issues. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Im lost on where to start.

Ok Ill get picks tomarrow. I was thinking to do speedo cable/cruise control, door hinges, and stereo (because it was ripped out). The doors feel like they are going to fall off. Whats the easiest way to fix that?

You can get hinge kits unless the hinge is totally worn out. Check out www.50resto.com

To tighten the doors takes a two man job. One to hold the door in place and the other to tighten the bolt's. As far as any interior parts or any exterior parts needed someone mentioned it before 50resto.com is the place you can find about almost everything you need. If you call them they will send a free catalog so it's easier to see what you need.
I personally, everytime I buy a car I change all the fluids even if they look good just to know where the car stands fluid wise and work on basic matience like checking the brakes, tighting sh*t that loose, checking the struts and shocks, electircal etc... after all minor stuff is taken care off you can work on what you want to built your car as. Not sure if your car is an auto or manual but gear upgrade is always nice. I personally like 373's for auto on a DD and 355's for a 5 speed DD.
Good luck on your car and congats! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]
