What's it worth

1988 gt 5.0 aod alternator freezed no rust dark red in color with decent paint full interior 138,000 miles thinking ill get it for $400 at local repo auction. Is it worth buying to part out or sell as a whole if soo how much do you guys think i could get for it. THANKS

A rebuilt alternator is about $60 so if all thats wrong with it is the alternator youll have a running car for less than $500. You could probably sell it for $1500 or more.

That's a good deal. You can't get a 5.0 that cheap around my area

so lemme get this straight the alternator doesn't work so your selling it? if so, i'd buy a new alternator or get a junkyard one at minimum and you should be able to get at least $1500 for it, post pics of the car and interior and motor... hard to judge from that description....
