If your looking at $40 for the shorter belt another option, which I've run across, is a smog pump replacement pulley. This aluminize pulley takes the place of the original smog pump and the best thing is you can use the standard size belt. Just another option.

im tellin you its the 83.5" i bought a 85" and it wobbled like a mother. the 83.5 and 85 come standard at most places. the 85 becomes way to loose. i dint even have to push the idler pulley down to slip the belt on, and its 18$ at auto zone. also you could get a bennetts auto supply to order you a special 84 for 30$. but i am still happy with my 83.5"

Yeah i know but we dont have many auto stores around here. Its just like Schucks or Napa. Napa only had an 83 1/4 wich was too small and then an 84 1/4 but they didnt have it in stock. And then i went to a schucks and the closest was 85 which i found out is too big. So there are 2 other schucks in town that im gonna go to and hopefully they will have an 83.5 or 84...

Alright so went back to schucks today and traded in my 85" belt for and 83.5" but that actually ended up being a bit too small. So i went back to get an 84" which of course was out of stock. So i had them order one and it is supposed to be here Sept. 2nd. So i have to wait...
