All Fox-bodied (1993 was only year) Cobras begin with 1FACP42D as their VIN.
That's why I'm thinking it could be an 88 Cobra GT. Of course, it could just be someone sticking the cobra emblem on there, but there's still a possibility that it is indeed a real Cobra GT. Not that it make's any real difference, lol.

Did the 1988 Cobra GTs come with a Cobra emblem or did they just use the standard GT tags? Even though I live in Maine, I've never seen one so I'm not sure what they had on them.
Canadian "Cobra" GT's did not have any snake logos or emblems on them. All they had was cobra written on the hatch lip.

OH, I'm in Canada.

But there not real cobras. Just a plain GT. The canucks just needed a different name to separate ther french *** from every body else.

That's what I wasn't sure about. I know they only made them in Canada, but I knew quite a few ended up down here. Wasn't sure what they had for emblems.

Liek I said before, I live in Maine and I'm surprised I have never seen one before. I'm not that far from the border really.

Thats what the called them in Canada. They are still regular GT's though. Some of them got into the states and thats what their titles say.
