Default Stock red line ?

so i'm leaving work today and i dump it at 3k and burn out of the lot, and after maybe 30 ft, i look down at the tach and its pushin 7k. WHOOPS!
BUT.... i must say, for some reason, it seemed to like it. no rev limiter kicked in, dunno wtf is up with that, but it seems to run better, no more sputtering around corners.
hmm?

That just sounds like bad driving. But you probably decarbed the engine by doing that though...that's why it's running better.

lol that sucks, well i dunno about the computer, i just bought this one about 5 weeks ago, havn't really done much with it except drive to work and back. all i know is that is kept going after 6250, so maybe my pcm is junk, that would explain the fuel cutoff around corners, maybe....

wow, thats really high. I have never tried pushing any of my cars to the rev limiter. I wouldnt reccomend it especially since you arent making any extra power after around 5500 I believe, unless you have modified your car to do so.
