thats weird..
there is a kid at my school, (when i was in school) that bought a new camaro..
its got a 350 in it.. i dont know anything about them.. lt1 or whatever...
but he put SS badges on it, and bought the SS hood and everything..
and ran a uh.. like 14.8... so fast
If it ran a 14.8 then he was a bad driver. The LT1 Camaro's are no joke. They put down something like 275 RWHP stock. Compared to 225 for mustangs. Then you have the 350 vs. the 302. It's a decent engine that can make some serious HP with a few mods. And it's pretty beefy as a stock car too (at least for the mid to late 90's when it came out.)
That is about the only differences between the two anyways. I test an LT1 Z28 and they aren't any joke at all.

If you do infact get him to race bring a video camera. thats' the only way to do it.
