ORIGINAL: gtdogs

does yours idle high all the time or just when you first start mine revs sorta high on start up then it seems fine fore about 30 seconds to a minute then you can feel and hear a small miss i like this car but its a pain

does it smelllike it's running rich?..mine does the same thing as you described but is running kinda rich.. i replaced everything i could think of..ect, iac, pcv valve and screen and the rubber gromet that the pcv valve goes in, cleaned the tb and egr spacer, adjusted tps.. checked fuel pressure and it was good.. checked timming.. everything i could think of.. so i think i might have a leaky injector so those are getting changed this weekend along with putting all new gaskets and seals in it.. so hopefully it will stop the eratic idle crap.[:@]

Did you replace the cap and rotor? Check the fuel pressure w/ a guage at the check port. Ignition modules on these cars are crap and can cause problems. I wouldn't just through one at it and hope it fixed it but maybe replace it if you can't find the cause.
