Unfortunately I have to stick with something along the lines of an AODE. On occasion, the GF does take the car out and about and she's bad with a manual tranny. It's bad enough with a ratchet shifter! lol. So I'll have to get a nice rebuilt AODE that's good for 550 or so RWHP.

I cant think of his s/n for the life of me, but he has a RPM intake for 350, maybe grabbem ? Pm him and see if he has it.

i have a Victor upper and lower - gaskets and bolts intake i was looking to get rid of for around 300.

hey guys thanks for the help i think im gonna go with the gt40 off the explorer idea that sounds pretty good and besides my dads got an explorer lol he'll never know

minor diff. I beleive the gt40 intake may flow a bit better than the explorer but the dfferences are very minimal.

I thought with these GT40 intakes off Exploders, your gonna run into EGR problems....Or do they just bolt right up no problem? [:@]

i believe it was 5.0s b4 98? that work well without egr problems... I cant remember what site i read the info on. Or if that is the correct year but it seems like i remember reading about the egr prob, too.

ford put the same 302 in the explorer from 79 till 96 i think and yes it bolts right up... i just wanted to know if it would give me close to the hp gain i would expect with another upper and lower system
