just for referance, my 88, w. 66k on it was 4500... you can find what your looking at for cheaper...

Most foxes in my area(Texas) go for about 3500-5000 for a decent condition one, so I would say it's in the general price range. Although, I would check out the car more if he claimed it was a cobra and none were made in that year...so better carfax it before you get it.

Oh, and I think I got a steal with my car. Bought it from the first owner with a rebuilt 302 and it had never been modded for $2000. It wasn't garage kept so the paint is a little faded, and there is a small tear in the driver seat. But other than that it is clean. It even still had the original owners manual in the glove department, which i think is pretty cool considering its an 84.
