What do they have, that a regular 84 5.0 doesn't have besides the striping and such.

well the local speed shop here has done engine rebuilds on two in the area and found out that they have roller cams and not the flat tappet that they were suposed to have so i think ford might have upgraded the engine from what it was supposed to be

nothing, but they only made 1,213 'verts w/ the 302

it should just have the running pony emblem on the fender , is that what your talking about?

im sure they had the same heads and intake they all have egr intakes cant say anything about the suspension mine is shot 174k on it that car bounces like a mother

sorry i tried to answer 2 in 1

everything is the same, just a sticker package for 20th aniv. but they only built 1,213 of them.
the answer about the pony emblem was for the original poster

and btw, congrats i looked for a clean one for about a year b4 i gave up.

i was told they had different suspension...dunno if that is true or not...also not all of them were 5.0s...some of them were turbo 4s...when i had mine a guy at the college that i went to had a turbo car...his was ragged out and would not hang with me..i got mine from the orginal owner that had taken real good care of it...

mines in alright condition but my buddy and i are doing all the body work this spring and painting it back to whats its supposed to be also adding a 2 1/2 or 3 inch cowl hood and a cobra wing
