I just Picked up a 460 with 2000k on it after a 200,000k rebuild and a C6 trans I want to put it in a Fox notch.
Has it been done and does anyone make the conversion for it.
It has a 750 Demand on it but I want fuel injection so is there a kit for that also.

There is this kid in town that talks mad s**t about fords and i used to work with him at AutoZone.
He is building a hatch with a LS1 motor in it to race me in the spring and I want to do a cheap build in the 4 grand range.

What I want:
notch, 460 fuel injetion, C6 manual valve body, 4k stall, 3.73's, and a 200 shot of wet two stage.

What I know he has:
hatch, 454 700cfm carb,3 speed power glide, 4k stall, 3.53's, and a 6lb twin t3/4 turbo set up.

Would I even stand a chance?

I have seen this done. the car wasn't amazingly fast because the motor weighs soo much. it was a very cool thing though

stroke it too ya its been done before. do you have a chance? it would probably be close, but i think he's got you. its real hard to tell though, my guess is as good as yours

I dont know about doing it all for 4k, but it can be done

you would be better off with a 351 lighter, cheaper, you get the point

He has 3 hundred in his turbo set up i welded the tube for him the turbos are junk yard dogs.
would I be better off with the car I have now and a 175 shot?

He is hoping to run low 11's high 10's with his and my neighbor has a 93 notch with a 175 shot that runs 11.20's consecutive.

should I sell the 460 and do a 331 with NO2?
