EEC-IV

Alright, Im looking to buy an Anderson PMS. Most of them say, for Ford 86-95 EEC-IV. What is this? I think its the fuel injection thing, and the computer? Am I correct? I have a computer out of a 93 Mustang with an Auto, will that work?

YES IT WILL WORK.....the programmable magement system is very high tech...if i'm not mistaken 86-95 is a typo...never heard of them having a program for speed density...this controls your fuel/spark tables injector spread/cycle...and alot more

yeah i saw most of what it said, but i didnt know what the EEC-IV stood for. I think it said 86-95 just because of fuel injection, im pretty sure there was a side note somewhere, somthing about Mass Air Flow.. So like is EEC-IV the type of computer for MAF fuel injection systems?

EEC-IV = Electronic Engine Control Generation IV = Ford OBD-I system....all '84+ OBD-I Fords (speed density, MAF, VAF systems) are EEC-IV systems. Mustangs 5.0L '86-'95 are EEC-IV.
