Not to change the point or anything, but How do the stock AOD tranny's hold up. I am thinking about buying a 89 GT that needs a motor but has an AOD tranny. No offense but regardless of the set up I will always have a clutch, thought I thought about asking of the durability of the tranny's

if anything the AOD is stronger than the stock T5

like all auto's power output is decreased but drivability is increased

lentech manual valve body with a rebuild kit is good for ~300rwhp

get a slap/ratchet shifter and bang it into gear with a smile on ur face while u rest ur left foot
