Are you sure? I used my chilton manual that covers 87-93 stags to help me put new wires on my 95. Havent had any problems and this was awhile ago.

RE: I need firing order for my 94' GT

Well, the thing is... my original motor threw two rods and smashed everything inside... so I bought this fresh rebuilt 5.0 long block from a 91' F150. The block itself was identical except it didn't have the roller cam and lifters... everything internal was new... bored to a 306, rods, crank, pistons, Timing Chain, oil pump, cam, lifters, valves, springs, and pushrods... and my orig. cam was toast, so I left the F150 motor the way it was. I replaced the oil pan, manifolds, intake, timing cover and water pump from my stang. I have it ready to go in but wasn't sure what the difference would have been with the timing. The AutoZone site shows the order to be identical... aside from a lower horsepower... does anybody fore see a problem once I hook everything up?

yes.. your motor will be pretty sackless with the f-150 cam.

Well Hell.... I'm selling it as soon as I have it finished....As long as it runs and can make it down the road is all I'm concerned about. I'm buying a Cobra as soon as I can get rid of this stang.

well thats all well and good man.. but.. please dont be a scumbag and not tell the guy it's not a 5.0ho.. but.. i'm sure you will be able to tell as soon you drive it.. it isnt.

google the firing order for a 91 f-150 and it should be able to tell you it.

RE: I need firing order for my 94' GT

I wouldn't do that.... I'll give the buyer the lifters and spider bracket with the motor... afterall it's still a roller block. All he has to do is put another cam in it along with the original lifters

RE: I need firing order for my 94' GT

or you could just spend the extra 200 bucks and put a ford racing e-cam in the motor while it was out.. and put the spider bracket and lifters in it.. throw the cam out.. with the motor out it should only take maybe 2 hours.. then.. jack the price up of the car 1000 bucks or so.

Your probably right... It'd only take about 20min to swap out... I'm just F'in tired of droppin' money in this car. I just had the T5 rebuilt a couple weeks ago.... along with the rear end... and new Cobra R's with only 500miles. Ready for a new toy. I'll sleep on it tonight. Thanks for your help

no problem man. just my 2 cents.. plus.. if it doesnt have a true 5.0 ho in it then people might not want to buy it. just something to think about i guess.

'85 - '95 HO Mustangs + all 351w engines = 13726548 firing order
Non HO, 302 = 15426378 firing order

Ford did not change the roller cam for '94 - '95 HO's....it's the same '86 - '93 firing order.
